Our Story

In June 2003 a small group of believers began to meet and pray about what God had in store for the North Myrtle Beach and Barefoot Community.  Later that year this small group began meeting for Bible study and prayer.  The core group started to grow and the planning of Barefoot Church began.  By June 2004 that core group grew to 23 people and they began meeting at a local hotel.  In September of 2005 Barefoot opened in N.M.B. High School and had 152 people attend the first weekend. Over the last three years Barefoot Church has experienced tremendous growth.  We are 1,300+ in attendance each weekend.  In 2009 alone we've baptized 209 people.

In 2009 we launched our second campus, the internet campus (barefootchurchlive.com), as well as opening 5400 square feet of childrens space.  What God is doing at Barefoot is amazing.  You'll find upbeat services and enthusiastic people welcoming you to our campuses.
